Design is everywhere, even when you don’t notice it. At its essence, our work reinterprets vernacular context and local traditions, with comfort, functionality and durability as the primary concerns.

Our aesthetic pushes toward subtlety and permanence; where the use of the natural is preferred over the man-made; allowing affect to be achieved through an economy of means. Space and objects made to last two hundred years, not twenty.

As a full service studio, our practice offers services in Architecture, Interiors, Furnishing, and Art Consultancy. With over a decade of combined experiences, we’ve developed a deep understanding of New York City.

We know its people, its neighborhoods, and the forces that shape them. Although our work spans multiple scales, each instance begs a unique understanding of place: influenced by context, the wishes and aspirations of each of our clients, and the strong relationships that we build with them. Each new project offers an opportunity to discover re-compositions in material, scale, light, space and volume.
